Dear Mick Jaeger

As many of you know, I recieved a kickass Sony Ericsson K750i from my friend in the UK a few weeks ago. His service provider sends him the new latest phone for free every year so since he recieved his K800i, he was fine with sending his old one to me. He only charged me for shipping, which was 11 pounds, so I gave him 20. The phone really does retail for around $300-400, so I was getting a sweet deal.
But, as it turns out, Cingular uses the 850 band frequency for their towers. This phone is European and, although Tri-band, doesn’t pick up that frequency. Therefore, I was unable to make calls from the comfort of my own home, school, well, basically anywhere. It was truly an inconvenience and I decided I might as well sell it on eBay.
So I set up an auction, 10 days, starting price $70, $10 shipping. In the last hours many people battle it out, with the victor being acube_a1, an eBay member with private feedback (so I don’t know what others say about him). eBay says this person resides in New Zealand. Okay, that’s fine. I’ll ship it globally.
So I wake up hoping to see a “You’ve got money!” email from paypal. What do I find?

More here. I love it when scammers get scammed.
