When it comes to Tax delinquent Property Investing and Tax Lien Investing in particular the investor (=you) has two choices.

1. Does he want to go for the high interest rate offered by “Tax Lien Certificates”
2. Does he want to go for the chance to get the property through foreclosure of the Tax Lien Certificate?

Although I personally like the Second option better and am actually a fan of yet a third way of buying tax delinquent property directly from the owner outside of auctions for as little as $100 to $500 and sell it within days for many thousands of dollars.

But back to Tax Lien Certificates. Any investor playing with the thought of investing in Tax Lien Certificates needs to decide which of the two options he will go for.
Or if the decision it to go for both, then what percentage each of them should be of your portfolio.

There are ways to increase your chances of picking a property which will go for Tax Lien Foreclosure, just like there are ways to increase your odds to pick a Tax Lien that will be redeemed in the future.

So this is not a game of luck but one of analysis and running the list of properties coming up for Tax Lien sale through a list of criteria which separate the ones highly likely to be redeemed from the ones highly likely NOT to be redeemed.

There’s a lunar eclipse tonight..anyone watching?

Mitt Romney suspended his bid for the Republican presidential nomination Thursday, saying if he continued it would “forestall the launch of a national campaign and be making it easier for Sen. Clinton or Obama to win.”

“In this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign be a part of aiding a surrender to terror. This is not an easy decision. I hate to lose,” the former Massachusetts governor said.

“If this were only about me, I’d go on. But it’s never been only about me. I entered this race because I love America, and because I love America, in this time of war I feel I have to now stand aside for our party and for our country.”

Romney made the announcement Thursday afternoon at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington.

With Romney out, Sen. John McCain is locked in as the front-runner in the GOP race.

Romney had won 286 delegates in through the Super Tuesday contests, compared with McCain’s 697.

Apparently there are a whole lot of Muslims enraged and offended at Wikipedia, because there is an image of Muhammed in his Wikipedia entry.

In Islam pictures or Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and other holly figures are not allowed, but on wikipedia they has published some pictures that are showing not only a body with white face but an image that has a complete face.. that is even not allowed by SHITAT fact of Islam.
i request all my brothers and sisters to sign this petition so we can tell wikipedia to remove them.

Hopefully Wikipedia’ll refuse to budge as these people need to get over themselvs.

As police continued to search for a gunman who killed five women in a Tinley Park clothing store, sources said a sixth person was also shot, but survived.

At a 2 p.m. news conference, Tinley Park Police Chief Michael O’Connell released the names of the five victims, but gave few new details about the tragedy.

O’Connell described the Saturday morning shooting as a robbery-gone-bad.

When the customer isn’t right - for your business

One woman who frequently flew on Southwest, was constantly disappointed with every aspect of the company’s operation. In fact, she became known as the “Pen Pal” because after every flight she wrote in with a complaint.

She didn’t like the fact that the company didn’t assign seats; she didn’t like the absence of a first-class section; she didn’t like not having a meal in flight; she didn’t like Southwest’s boarding procedure; she didn’t like the flight attendants’ sporty uniforms and the casual atmosphere.

Her last letter, reciting a litany of complaints, momentarily stumped Southwest’s customer relations people. They bumped it up to Herb’s [Kelleher, CEO of Southwest] desk, with a note: ‘This one’s yours.’

TINLEY PARK, Ill. (CBS) ― The search continued Sunday for the gunman who shot and killed five women during a robbery at a Tinley Park clothing store, then disappeared after walking out the front door.

Meantime, autopsies will be performed on the bodies of the five victims.

CBS 2’s Rafael Romo reports that as the investigation continued Sunday, there was still no word on exactly how the gunman got away unnoticed. Police were reviewing surveillance videos from several stores at the strip mall, but unfortunately the Lane Bryant store where the women were killed did not have any cameras.

The shooting has not only devastated the victims’ families, but also Tinley Park and the surrounding communities.

The shooting happened just before 11 a.m. A gunman took five women into a back room at the Lane Bryant store, including one employee, and shot and killed all of them before fleeing.

Tinley Park Police Sgt. T.J. Grady said, “The motive in this case was a robbery and that at some point it went rather poorly.”

Police launched a manhunt as soon as they arrived at the scene, going from store to store finding only shoppers who were confused and in panic.

O’Connell said a bystander told officers that he had seen a stocky black man, about 5-foot-9, who was wearing a black winter coat, a knit cap and dark pants.

“We are very comfortable that the offender is out of the area. We had an immediate search of the area immediately after the incident was reported. We had an officer respond within a minute,” O’Connell said.

Attempts to find him with dogs and a helicopter equipped with infrared sensors also failed, authorities said.

Tinley Park Police Chief Mike O’Connell said the victims ages ranged from 22 to 37; four were from the Chicago suburbs and one was from South Bend, Ind.

Family members identified one of the victims as Carrie Hudek Chiuso of Frankfort. She was a teen counselor and a 1993 graduate of Homewood Flossmoor High School.

“Carrie was deeply loved by faculty and staff,” said school spokesman Dave Thieman in a statement. “She had a real touch with students. The entire H-F family is deeply saddened.”

Several stores were put on lockdown just minutes after the shooting.

Lupe Olmos was shopping at the Brookside Marketplace Shopping Center when it happened. “I’m in the dressing room and then somebody gets a call in the dressing room that she reports that she’s the wife of a manager that there’s a shooter on the loose and that the store is getting locked down. And at that I’m thinking ‘Holy cow. I’m gonna stay put, I’m not gonna move anywhere. Everybody’s in a panic,’” Olmos said.

In a Target store across the parking lot from Lane Bryant, terrified customers were herded to the front as police with pistols and rifles drawn went up and down the aisles and into storerooms searching for the gunman.

“I was so scared I couldn’t think,” said Selena Kujawa, who had just entered the store with her 5-year-old son when it was locked down. After about an hour, customers were told to leave.

“They told us to get in our cars and get out of here,” Kujawa said.
Police began allowing some shoppers into parts of the strip mall later Saturday, but had cordoned off the Lane Bryant store, which remained closed on Sunday.

When asked where he planned on setting up his practice, he replied, “Somewhere where there are lotsa young women who want to have babies. If fact, I can help! Yes, sir. When Dr. Dick is in town they’ll be nothing to worry about!”

When asked for a comment, President Bush had this to say. “I wish him good luck. I know Lynn always talked about Dick all the time and I ‘m glad to see others will have a chance to use Dick too!”

A third undersea Internet cable has been damaged in the Middle East, adding to the disruption in online services after two other lines were cut earlier this week, the cable operating firm said. The Falcon cable was cut 56 kilometres (35 miles) from Dubai, between Oman and the United Arab Emirates, according to its owner, FLAG Telecom, which is part of India’s Reliance Communications.

The repair ship had been notified and was expected to arrive at the site in the next few days, the company said on its website.

Flag Telecom owns another cable that was damaged off Egypt on Wednesday. A repair ship was expected to arrive by Tuesday to restore that cable and repairs were expected to take a week, the company said.

The outages have disrupted business across the Middle East and South Asia, including in India, where businesses said it may take up to 15 days to return to normal.
